Consultant Medical Oncologist

Dr Murphy is a consultant medical oncologist specialising in colorectal cancers, with over fifteen years of experience across leading London hospitals including Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, The Royal Marsden, Charing Cross Hospital, and Hammersmith Hospital.

She completed her medical degree at the University of Cambridge and was awarded a Wellcome Trust Drug Discovery Fellowship for her PhD in cancer drug development at the Institute of Cancer Research. She has held competitive research fellowships funded by the NIHR and Cancer Research UK and regularly presents at national and international conferences.

Dr Murphy leads the Rapid Diagnostic Cancer Clinic at Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and works within a multidisciplinary team of GPs, oncology nurses, and radiologists. Her service has been recognised for excellence by RM Partners.

She is passionate about early cancer detection and prevention, recognising that outcomes are significantly improved when cancers are identified at an early stage. Her approach is calm, evidence-based, and highly patient-centred, with a focus on clarity, reassurance, and personalised care.
